remember that song? well, tis the season to be thankful! in reality, everyday should be thanksgiving....or not. we'd all be very plump people. :o) we were talking about about holidays and though this one isn't my favorite, i love the whole idea of it. it isn't about drowning in consumerism & greed but it's all about being Thankful for what you already have**, amen?
amen!!! allow me to count a few of my blessings:
:: the awesome amazing wonderful fabulous splendoriferous Privledge of serving God and He giving me strength and hope and sanity (well, that latter one is debatable, lol) even though the world is going positivelybonkers. also, i'm glad that i attend a great church and have a great
pastor that teaches me to keep the right perspective of things.
:: mi familia! wonderful people (and a dog, heehee) that i love oh so dearly.
:: a job. oh my, a job. granted it isn't the most exciting/interesting and i hold back on speaking of it since i have a paranoia about ranting and one of my bosses chancing upon my blog BUT! in these shaky financial times, many people would kill to trade places with
me. so, thank you, Jesus.
:: mi amigos! they all seriously brighten my life and i also love them oh so dearly!
**so you could say that the one main bad thing that thanksgiving is associated with is overindulgence. namely, gluttony. i mean, the food's kinda good (my mom makes the most moist, flavorful turkey ever!) but really now, you can stop at one plate, i promise! it's just food!
------------------
OMG! i got this in an email at work and i seriously wanted to cry! and forward emails never emotionally move me. i verified it on snopes.com and it's real! http://www.snopes.com/photos/
thankful theme!!

on a totally unrelated note, are you a person who loves bling soooo much, you think you'd like to literally be it? do you want to capture the essenceof your dearly departed loved one immortalized.... in a rock? thanks to LifeGem, you too can bling-bling foreverr! a diamond is
forever, after all.
i spotted an article about this in my web browsing and while i'm an advocate of cremation, it kinda creeped me out that someone would wanna sport their grandma on their finger everywhere.
