* hello. my name is jennifer and i am.... a.... VACATIONHOLIC! i have a strong (and possibly unhealthy) addiction to going out of town. it's my passion! my hobby! i wish my passion wasn't so expensive. some people collect like, pez dispensers or our U.S. quarters from all 50 states and that gives them their rush of personal fulfillment. good for them. i have an insatiable need to collect experiences from places that are foreign to me. vacation is in t minus 15 days! oh, and before that, there will be a camping trip. there is nothing like roughing it for a little while in the wild. i love it! 

 

* school has begun again. i went back feeling kind of disappointed that i will have to sacrifice 3 precious days of my week. but after sitting in a few classes, i'm okay with it again. i forgot how Easy college is. it never ceases to amaze me how Demanding my college prep classes in high school were compared to the real thing!!

 

so i counted the other day that i have 10 classes left (not including the 4 that i'm currently enrolled in and the dreaded math one i intend on taking during winter break). amazing.

 

*.... which segues into that ever asked question, "so, what are you going for?" and the answer is still -- i have no clue. so i reasoned this recently: the job that i score within 2 weeks of graduation { joking! i'm not totally deluded } has to be:

 

a. FUN! - if you're into personality classification, i'm mostly sanguine. work has to have a fun element in it to keep me interested, else my self diagnosed a.d.d. kicks in.

b. $$$$ - ha! or at least enough of that for me to pay off the pesky student loans fairly quickly. thankfully, i don't have alot of school debt.

 

so yes, sadly, those are my only requirements. i don't have a particular interest in any specific industry. well.... except for, of course... the travel industry! we shall see in due time, eh?

 

* why is it that.… you encounter people on the job who consider themselves to be saved { and, well, they aren’t }. they love to talk about God and they even tell you that they see a difference it you compared to a lot of self-professed christians they meet BUT no, they still think they are doing okay, fine, and dandy and we’ll all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. they notice and compliment you on your personal convictions but don’t see the need for them in their lives. i just don’t get it. but hey, the world has gone bonkers.
