stuff in August

* We had church on a Monday! Very rare event. Mon-Wed we're having a mini Back To School revival with Pastor Jonathan Dudley. Last night was soooo good. I'm anxious to see how God will move tonight and tomorrow night. He spoke about having a heart that is determined to live for God, no matter the circumstances. When it all boils down to it, that's the only thing you need. It kinda broke my heart because earlier that day, I saw pictures of a young person who used to go to church but does not anymore. And yeah, that one was in a very difficult situation but instead of sticking it out, she chose to leave.

He promises to never give us more than we can bear. If we yield to Him and have a mind to live for Him, we can make it through anything.

* Last week was my last week of school (foreverandeverandever). I'm anxiously awaiting for my piece of paper in the mail! Ha! Need to find a frame....

* Not too much going on around here currently, which is nice because its been busy this summer. Next week is the annual camping trip so hopefully we're blessed with cool temps and no hurricanes this year. Then September will bring a big church remodel!

* Isn't this darling???:

And this too, right???:

I spotted both of those at Dillard's on Sat so I had to look for them online. Maybe I have a thing for fuschia bags right now?  Won't be buying though! Need to be good!

What's new with youuu?

JenJen!! The preaching sounds so good. It's heart breaking to see young people walk away from God. Or anybody for that matter! You're right...if we have a made up mind, that will help keep us! My mind is made up!

I like the first bag a lot! And I'm doing good. lol Hope you're doing good, too! Congrats on finishing school!!

August... the calm before the storm! Once Youth Alive hits Vic Tab we don't slow down again until the New Year!

Cute bags! Saw some fuchsia at Kohl's which are probably closer to my price range ;)

Really, at Kohl's??? That's become one of my faves recently! I'm actually carrying a Kohl's purse currently! Yeah, I was just walking (fast!) past the bags at Dillard's!
