so maybe they wont be that deep.... it is morning, and monday morn at that! but anyway:
* why in the cornbread world (lol, that's what bro. marty ballestero says) do bananas have to be so DISGUSTING to make good banana bread?? so like a dummy, i made banana bread last night after church because they looked like they were totally Decomposing and i'm thinking by time i get home from work on monday afternoon, they'll be covered with mold or something.
so there i was, peeling the skin off of 8 bananas and Gagging. but hey, the breads came out wonderfully! the decomposing brought forth something beautiful. hmm.... that'll preach.
* i feel like i'm giving a synopsis of my night.... have you ever woken up at 3:30 am gasping for breath? that happens to me occasionally during allergy season. i couldn't breathe! it was horrible! sorry, i'm just slightly traumatized.
* along that line, here's a pet peeve: when people who are having sinus problems go into great detail about where the drainage is flowing, what it feels like, etc. um, yes, i have that issue too but i don't give out descriptions about it since i don't care to think too hard about it and gross myself out!
* i wish i could rent a summer cottage up north somewhere to run from this heat. who's with me??? we can split the rent! and have a big wraparound front porch with a pool in the back! ok, i'll stop now.
* what is life without friends? very lonely indeed. soooo happy, soooo blessed that i have a group of people with whom i can just be me, with all of my quirks and idiosyncrasies, and know that i am still Loved and Accepted by them. this weekend we got all dolled up and went out on the town but the best part was just in being together: laughing at corny jokes and inside jokes, making up songs, impromptu relay races, and etcetera. i love it. pictures to come soon.
now, you have an amazing week, ya hear?
;)

Hey why don't you guys get a SEASONAL cabin up here in Calgary(for a few months anyway ;) ) You can handle any weather if it is a permanent one! Hehe and the Rockies. . .ohhh WOW!!!! We don't have any oceans and few lakes, but we do have the wonderful Bow River and swimming pools that you have to rent (for a ladies night out) if you really want to have fun. We do have some awesome sceneries though. If you don't think that that would be a good idea. . . Well maybe you could come to one of our Plains District camp meetings for some good preaching and fellowship. Maybe you could stay a little longer to do some touring around Alberta, Canada. It is up North from where you are living.
cg :)
oooo, canada sounds lovely, especially on a day like today.
