RECAP! : graduation extravaganza

wow, what a weekend. well, friday night was the grad ceremony so here is the grad girl and i.

afterward her mom served food in the backyard and it was really cute with backyard lights and those little toothpick umbrellas (i love those things). after opening her presents, she was told that some of us were taking her to the fairmont hotel downtown that night!


so now, it's saturday! we wake up late because that bed was soooo comfortable! i now Need a king sized feathertop bed with down filled pillows! ha, i'd never get out of bed so i guess not....



and we attended arsenio's grad ceremony that afternoon. ha! the superintendent's speech was sprinkled with so many references to facebook and twitter, it made me wonder if she just discovered them last week.
his school is cool b/c they throw streamers up at the end!

yay for grads! so after this we hurried back downtown to get ready for the dinner that night! she had no clue as to how we were getting to the restaurant. well, outside of the hotel was this....

one of those hummer limos that she always loved to see! nope, we weren't riding very "green" that day. :)

so we all piled in....

and arrived at maggiano's (which also happens to be my favorite restaurant)

ok, so what's fine dining without FOOD PICS? ha, i'll spare you most of them. they served us family style so they kept bringing us huge hot plates of the salad, appetizers, entrees and yummm, dessert!


these two were both masterpieces. oh, hallelujah.

on the ride back! ha! the guys in this pic were in a competition to... i don't even really know, to win my heart or a date or something! it was hilarious! the love connection, limo edition. oh! and we made up a song. it's called "in the limooooo! ohhhh!" yeah, it'll hit the billboard charts soon.



the chauffeur drove us around downtown and then dropped us off. we then tried to be models for albert's fancy pants camera but we need more light.

ok so after this we went on top of a parking garage and took a few pics. i''ll leave you with the last one (Finally! right? lol). i love skyscrapers. i love city skylines!
