sunday school funny:
*the girls were talking about numbers*
e - six-six-six.
t - ooooooo!!!
e - what?
k - that's the devil's number!
e - what? the devil got a cell phone?!
those silly billy kiddos! there's nothing like watching kids that you knew as Babies growing up into teenagers. OH MY WORD. i was astonished at them this sunday. i guess that i've been thinking about age quite a bit recently. i couldn't help but notice that they're beginning to look a bit more like adults everyday. can you say SCARY?
what's nice though is that they don't consider me as "old". long ago, when i was merely twenty-five years of age, they asked me, "Sister Jennifer, how old are you?" I braced myself to be doomed as uncool and declared as old.... oh, and i answered their question too. "Oh okay! You're young!"
whew!! what a relief!!
and although i am not yet a parent, knowing that their eyes are watching me and the ears are listening to me causes me to ask God for a bit more help on this journey. maybe a bit more wisdom also!

Scary is when you realize that you are the exact same age that your mother was when she became a grandmother (that's me this year!)
How old are you now? Do you mind my asking? :)
