I like to read the quotes posted on the marquee of a recycling plant on my way home from work. This was likely misquoted, as I'm seeing now in my googling but I like it still.
"Peace is not the absence of fear,
but the presence of God."
So often, I want for God to come blazing into my situations to "fix" them. But ohhhh, how Sweet is it to know that I can talk to Him about everything and without "fixing" a thing, He gives peace! My Pastor preached a message a while back called "Exchanging Burdens with Jesus".
What a privilege to experience peace in the uncertainties of life.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
